Senior Management Analyst
K 's National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. In this role, you will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical mission—protecting our national security.
Responsibilities- Provide launch service (LS) project management and systems engineering for Rocket Systems Launch Program (RSLP) launch services in support of the Space Systems Command (SSC).
- Support the development and coordination of contract requirements documents, action items lists, presentation materials and decision briefings.
- Assess and document project budget, cost accounting and schedules to meet customer objectives.
- Coordinate actions with multiple mission partners from DoD agencies and commercial industry.
- Facilitate and support integrated product teams, program management reviews, design and readiness reviews, technical interchange meetings and working groups.
- Ensure proper application of National, DoD, USAF, USSF and SSC policies, prepare compliance documentation and assist in deviation and waiver processes.
- Identify potential cost, schedule and performance risks, mission impacts and mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate reviews of design documents and monitoring of system tests for requirements verification.
- Coordinate launch campaign activities including site preparation and facility support requirements.
- Active DoD Secret clearance, U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Technical Management, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
- Five years of relevant experience with Space Systems Command or equivalent DoD/NASA/Commercial experience.
- Ability to provide leadership and management of multi-functional missions in a rapidly changing environment with multiple deadlines and deliverables; ability to clearly articulate ideas and recommendations.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite—specifically Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detail oriented with ability to organize, prioritize and address multi-program schedules simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Active DoD TS with SCI eligibility.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field (including an MBA with relevant technical experience).
- Ten years of prior launch, missile enlisted experience may satisfy educational requirements.
- Prior launch, missile or space operational experience.
- Proficiency in the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System (CCaR), MS Project and/or Confluence/Jira.
40 hours per week.
