We are seeking electrical engineers at all levels. The selected candidates will join a dynamic team working to put great systems on orbit with capabilities to perform leading edge tasks in laser communications, space electronics and sensors.
Position Responsibilities
- Design custom high speed digital electronics including the use of ADCs, DACs, FPGAs, processors, and communications drivers.
- Design, and conduct analysis of, analog circuits including low-noise signal conditioning and power amplifiers. Provide expertise to both product development and R&D efforts.
- Collaborate with peers, leads, and managers to develop, review, and refine designs and analyses to meet program technical needs within defined time and budget constraints.
- Work within a broad-disciplined program team providing expertise in support of electronics manufacturing and test.

Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in electrical engineering with 5 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience can be considered instead of a master's degree.
- Experience in design, analysis, integration, and test of custom electronics
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools (such as Altium, SPICE, MATLAB, Simulink, Hyper Lynx, and MS Office).
- Ability to conduct circuit analysis and simulation to optimize performance and reliability.
Other Qualifications & Desired Competencies
- Understanding of space qualification standards and requirements.
- Experience designing custom electronics for space products.
- Experience designing to a defined requirements.
- Experience with analysis necessary for high reliability space electronics hardware (Electrical stress analysis, worst case circuit analysis, and reliability analysis).
- Experience producing PCB layouts
- Experience and understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Understanding of relevant IPC standards needed for electrical design and fabrication.
- Experience developing and conducting testing of complex electronic sub-assemblies along with design of special test equipment (STE).
- Experience deriving sub-assembly requirements from higher-level, flowed down, system requirements and defining test methodologies.
- Experience developing design & verification documentation (Interface Control Document/Drawings (ICD), Design Description Document (DDD), Test Plan, Test Procedures, Test Reports, etc.).
- Written and verbal communication skills necessary to present designs to internal and external stakeholders.
- Able to complete assigned work within a defined timeline and budget.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

The salary range for this role is:
$91,000 - $129,150
