Test Engineer

Test Engineer – Air Force Systems Support

Assist the U.S. Air Force in testing and certifying new or modified aircraft systems. Verify significant hardware or software changes through detailed test planning, analysis, and reporting.

Work closely with Air Force platform leads and the test community to ensure disciplined and effective test processes are exercised throughout all test events.

• Lead test projects or event activities.
• Design, develop, and implement testing methods and techniques.
• Respond to client needs, ensuring timely delivery of work products and tasks.
• Draft and coordinate test and safety plans, and field test operations.
• Oversee the development of test plans and procedures, capture data analysis criteria, and ensure test designs meet system and user requirements.
• Attend multiple test planning forums, coordinate team support activities, and communicate with leadership and clients on daily taskings.

• Experience leading test projects or event activities.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing testing methods and techniques.
• Ability to work within a professional, military-oriented environment.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Secret clearance.
• Associate’s degree in Engineering or Science.

• Experience with developmental or operational test and evaluation.
• Experience with an Integrated Product Team.
• Knowledge of experimental techniques and test optimizations for small and limited sample sizes.
• Knowledge of laboratory test operations.
• Top Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
