Mechanical Engineer
The Opportunity:
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to its technical team in Albuquerque, NM. This position requires travel in the continental United States for various projects. Responsibilities include defining and developing new mobile/transportable shelter system designs, identifying relevant subsystems, assessing requirements and system architecture, creating system specifications, analyzing and resolving design compatibility issues, coordinating design of mechanical system and subsystems, conducting independent technical investigations, performing site surveys and engineering assessments, developing drawings, User Guides, test plans, test procedures, rack elevations, equipment maintenance manuals, and other documentation, and working in a team environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
BS/MS in mechanical engineering, with 5 years of demonstrated experience in support of DoD or other federal agency in a mechanical engineering capacity. Must be proficient in Autodesk Inventor and MS Office suite. Desired: MS in mechanical engineering with 10+ years design experience with mobile/transportable systems for the DOD, Professional Engineering License, Active TS/SCI, ACAD 3D.

Pay Range:
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
