Systems Test Engineer

• Develop and direct comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules for systems tests
• Analyze test results against specifications, requirements, and operational needs
• Identify technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Develop test methodologies, scenarios, and data collection plans
• Perform technical analysis of complete systems and prepare system-level evaluations
• Assess COTS and GOTS equipment specifications for operational environments
• Analyze, evaluate, and document test data and results
• Produce test reports according to organizational standards
• Present results to senior leaders to support operational mission decisions
• Attend meetings and conduct interviews for market studies
• Lead a team or serve as a data collector for another team as needed
• Work independently and as part of a team
• Support analysts in consolidating test results

• 15 years relevant experience with bachelor's in related field, or 13 years relevant experience with master's in related field, or 10 years of experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field, or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience
• Possess and maintain a Secret clearance
• Demonstrated history of technical writing
• Demonstrated experience with Space Fundamentals, Satellite Communications (SATCOM) and/or Electronic Warfare (EW) in operational, research, or technical environments
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to define operational critical requirements with customers and design performance tests
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software applications
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to work multiple projects, handle schedule changes and short suspense tasks
• Experience in current and emerging defense technologies and desire to learn new technology
• Capable of operating in office, industrial, shipboard, and field environments
• Capable of climbing ladders, tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variance for long durations
• Ability to hike uphill and downhill while carrying up to 25 lbs. of specialized equipment
• Lifting and moving materials within one-person lift guidelines

Demonstrates extensive experience in developing and directing comprehensive test plans and methodologies, with a strong focus on technical writing and analysis of test results. Proficient in managing multiple projects and collaborating effectively with teams while maintaining a Secret clearance.
