Drop Team Member

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safeguards Drop and Drop Count Room assets.

• Performs labor functions such as replacing BVA in each slot machine.

• Obtains and opens BVA from cart or trolley.

• Empties contents of each BVA.

• Assists in sorting currency and paperwork.

• For each BVA, records cash and paperwork activity

• Participates in the count and verification of soft drop.

• Verifies each shifts bundled and strapped currency

• Scans ticket vouchers

Requirements

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to count quickly and accurately.

• Have the ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.

• Must be punctual.

• Ability to work flexible hours.

• Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.

• Ability to complete forms and documents.

• Ability to understand and follow verbal directives and written directions.

• Must be able to enter data, read and interpret output from computer.

• Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including weekends and holidays;

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a New Mexico Gaming Work Permit.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• 1 year experience is customer service preferred

• 1 year cash handling experience preferred

Physical Requirements & Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to bright lights and high noise level.

• Regularly required to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time.

• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Must be able to push around carts weighing up 150lbs
