Bingo Attendant
The Bingo Attendant is responsible for ensuring guests have an engaging, friendly, and well‑organized bingo experience by explaining games, selling bingo paper and machines, calling numbers, and accurately handling and balancing all funds and materials. This role requires strict adherence to Laguna Development Corporation (LDC) core values, policies, and gaming regulations, while maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward customers and coworkers.
Responsibilities: Starting sessions on time, operating point‑of‑sale systems, maintaining accurate cash handling and inventory, verifying and paying winnings, calling numbers clearly, making announcements, and ensuring all equipment, signage, and gaming materials are accurate and functional. Attendants must actively monitor the floor, assist players with instructions and gameplay, promote products and games, maintain a clean, organized workspace, and ensure guest satisfaction through friendly service, clear communication, and dispute escalation during emergencies.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED (preferred), relevant experience, minimum age of 21, prior calling or cash‑handling experience. Basic computer proficiency, use of office equipment, POS systems, and microphones/PA systems. Physical demands include lifting over 50 lbs., standing, bending, repetitive hand use. Mental demands include problem solving and decision‑making. Must obtain and maintain a gaming license, comply with federal Title 31 requirements, and pass pre‑employment screenings.
Employees must be flexible, able to work under pressure, including weekends and holidays, and perform additional duties as assigned. No supervisory duties are required.
