Keller Hall Staff

Assists with performances and rehearsals in the Department of Music's Keller Hall. Works front-of-house and backstage to provide service and support to audience and musicians. This job can be fast-paced and physically demanding.

Front-of-house duties include: taking tickets, ushering, distributing programs, regulating student attendance, adhering to fire safety code.

Backstage duties include: locking and unlocking Keller Hall, setting the stage and carrying out set changes (including moving piano, sound shell and chairs), assisting performers, clearing and maintaining the Hall.

Other duties include: assisting with cleaning, repairs, special projects, office work, publicity, and other tasks as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Students with Work Study awards preferred. Must be organized and reliable, with great interpersonal skills.

Skill Requirements:

Reliability: Be on time, understand your work assignments for the shift. Performances can't start on time without you.

Soft Skills: Be a good communicator, treat others with respect, and work well with your teammates.

Physical: Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Time: Must be able to work evenings and/or weekends

Personal: Be neat, clean, and professional in appearance. Wear all-black concert-appropriate attire with close-toed shoes. Be attentive to your surroundings so that you are aware of performer and patron needs.
