Casino, Gaming Manager, Customer Service Rep
Age Requirement: 21 years or older.
Position SummaryResponsible for performing complex cashiering functions that support the Isleta Resort and Casino’s gaming operations while promoting and exhibiting world‑class guest service to all Isleta Resort and Casino employees and guests.
Guest Service AgreementAll team members will display 100% commitment to world‑class guest service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Accurately conduct internal and external guest cage transactions such as gaming redemptions, currency exchanges, credit card advances, check cashing, and bank issue/return.
- Accurately maintain and verify issued bank inventory and funds.
- Prepare and maintain all paperwork necessary to accurately reflect transactions processed in order to keep assigned bank impress in balance.
- Promote and ensure an open and welcoming atmosphere that enhances skill, improves employee morale, and fosters positive guest relations.
- Greet internal and external guests, maintain a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.

Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED equivalent, required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of high‑volume cash handling experience, required. Casino cash handling experience preferred.
- Demonstrate basic math skills; a knowledge test may be given.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain a Key Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
- Must successfully pass a pre‑employment drug test and background investigation.
- Must be flexible with work schedule and willing to work any day or hour as required.
- Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino‑wide educational and certification requirements.
- Perform basic mathematics including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing in all units of measure.
- Manage multiple cash transactions to established company standards.
- Handle high‑volume cash drawers efficiently.
- Possess moderate computer skills and operate Microsoft applications.
- Accurately and successfully perform tasks and meet deadlines under high stress with minimum supervision.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time‑management skills; pay close attention to detail including numbers, spelling, and grammar.
- Take direction and feedback well.
- Make sound and accurate decisions.
- Highly developed customer‑service and interpersonal skills, including integrity and respect for individuals.
- Commit to organizational goals and objectives while exercising discretion and loyalty when handling confidential information.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Work a flexible and varying schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift, move, and carry 25 to 35 pounds.
- Push and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Maneuver awkward and unstable loads of coin and/or other cage/vault products.
Work is generally performed in a highly secured and monitored casino bank and vault setting with exposure to second‑hand smoke, high noise levels, various lights and sounds, and a fast‑paced environment. Occasionally may be required to interact with hostile and/or angry employees and guests.
