Position Summary:Responsible for daily operations oversight, addressing guest issues related to sports book bets, promotions, and events. Ensures compliance with tribal, federal, state, Pueblo of Isleta Regulatory, and Isleta Resort and Casino regulations.

All Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.

Supervisory Duties:- Maintain constant awareness of Sports Book activity and enforce house rules.
- Open, reconcile, and close sports book writer's and kiosk tills.
- Greet customers warmly, provide accurate bets, and confirm details before they leave.
- Handle guest betting requests professionally, maintaining close ties with customers.
- Input betting information accurately into the computer and verify winning tickets.
- Maintain and verify a cash bank, accept money, and provide sports tickets to guests.
- Create and process new guest member profiles in the Player's Club computer.
- Monitor staff performance, behavior, and attendance, administering disciplinary action as needed.
- Ensure proper staffing and motivation to meet goals, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Administer training and evaluate new writers on behalf of management.
- Promote positive guest relations through prompt, courteous service and maintain an open and welcoming atmosphere.
- Provide basic instruction on promotions and special events.
- Occasionally perform duties of subordinates and other tasks as needed.
- Positive attitude towards guests.
- Strong computer skills, including operating Player Rating System applications.
- Ability to perform under high stress with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic mathematics skills.
- Commitment to organizational goals and confidentiality.
- Critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Directly supervise Sports Book Writers, administering employment actions on behalf of management.
- Plan, assign, and direct work, appraise performance, and address complaints or problems.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Three months' consecutive cash handling experience preferred.
- Two years of Sports Book experience.
- Must acquire and maintain a Gaming License.
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
- Flexible work schedule, willingness to work any days/hours as needed.
- Must be able to lift, move, and place 25 pounds.
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.
Work is generally performed in, both, a Casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level, and a high paced office setting. Occasionally may be required to interact with hostile and/or angry guests.
