The Corporate Staff Accountant supports the Finance team by assisting with core accounting functions while developing hands-on experience in treasury and cash management operations. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily cash and banking activities, and ensuring financial integrity across the organization. Designed for an accounting professional eager to grow, this position offers meaningful exposure to both general accounting and treasury functions that support informed financial decision-making and the company’s long-term success.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with preparing and posting journal entries
  • Support monthly close activities and financial reporting
  • Perform basic balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records
  • Assist with audit requests and documentation
  • Support accounting process improvements as needed
  • Assist with daily cash monitoring and reporting
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for multiple accounts
  • Support cash forecasting and liquidity reporting
  • Assist with processing ACH, wires, and other banking transactions
  • Help maintain bank account documentation and controls
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and basic data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrates ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems, tools, and processes
  • Perform duties with professionalism, courtesy and accuracy

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of accounting or finance experience
  • Foundational knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with GAAP preferred.

Compensation details:  Hourly Wage
