Position Summary
Review and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and resolve any discrepancies. Participate in the preparation and analysis of hospital financial statements and reports. Provide information and assistance to auditors. Prepare account reconciliations and financial analyses. Ensure adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. No patient care assignment.
Detailed Responsibilities- Develop reports for internal distribution and reporting
- Generate timely and accurate financial reports and financial analyses. Explain variances for monthly trend analyses
- Prepare and reconcile daily cash deposits
- Review petty cash reimbursement/requests for accuracy, completeness and adherence to policy
- Analyze and research cash balances, income statement trends and balance sheet activity. Validate financial statement information for accuracy, completeness and proper account classification
- Prepare monthly journal entries
- Maintain departmental reports and records; collect statistical data for administrative and regulatory purposes
- Review and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Respond to customer inquiries; research and resolve financial transaction problems
- Develop, oversee and conduct various routine and special audits, research and correct data to maintain integrity of programs
- Enhance professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, reading current literature, attending in‑services, meetings and workshops
- Bachelor's Degree
- Related Discipline specialization
- 1 year directly related experience (essential)
- 2 years directly related experience (nonessential)

Sedentary work:
