- Shift: Day
- Participate in planning and performance of financial management studies that involve analysis of complex administrative processes.
- Interpret and apply regulations, laws, policies, and guidelines applicable to financial management to ensure no violations of these guidelines.
- Participate in the review and evaluation of financial systems for effectiveness of internal controls and integrity of the organization’s financial information.
- Analyze processing flows and review data in reports and financial statements.
- Identify abnormal trends and perform in-depth rigorous analysis of financial processes using techniques such as cost-benefit analysis and theory.
- Take necessary action to correct issues and produce reports; prepare supporting schedules, justifications, and related documentation as required by OMB, Treasury, and/or the Department of Agriculture.
