• Strategic Leadership and Organizational Oversight:
  You will provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization, optimizing the handling of bank and deposit relationships, and initiating appropriate strategies to enhance cash.
• Budgeting, Forecasting, and Cash Management:
  You will be responsible for the development and execution of the organization’s budgeting and financial forecasting, ensuring all financial operations are in line with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Financial Reporting and GAAP Compliance:
  You will oversee the production of timely and accurate financial reports, ensuring that the organization complies with all GAAP guidelines.
• Grant Management and Funding Oversight:
  You will manage and oversee all grants, ensuring that they are utilized and reported correctly.
• Personnel Leadership and Policy Implementation:
  You will lead the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will also implement finance-related policies and procedures, ensuring they are followed across the organization.
• Contract Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
  You will ensure that all financial contracts, agreements, and grants meet legal requirements and organizational policies.
• Board Reporting and Executive Advising:
  You will report financial results and projections to the board of directors and provide expert advice on all financial matters.
• Community Relations and Public Representation:
  You will represent the organization in its relationships with partners, donors, and the public, ensuring a positive image and reputation.
• Program Development and Operational Planning:
  You will contribute to the development of new programs and strategic initiatives, providing financial insights and projections.
• Audit Coordination and Financial Controls:
  You will coordinate all audit activities, ensuring the organization’s financial operations are transparent and adhere to high standards of accountability and control.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; advanced degree or professional certification (such as CPA or CFA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Experience with financial and accounting software applications.
• Strong leadership skills, with an ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to clearly convey financial information to a non‑financial audience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a strategic approach to financial management.
• Experience in grant management and funding oversight.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
