The Nail Technician provides our guests with high-quality nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, polish changes, and other treatments. They will consult with clients to understand their needs, ensuring personalized and effective care. Maintaining a clean and serene environment, you will uphold the highest standards of hygiene and customer service. Nail Technicians promote and sell service treatments, enhancements/upgrades and retail products to ensure the most memorable experience for our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Provides high quality nail services to include manicures, polish changes, and other product application.
- Prior to beginning services, provides professional consultation to fully understand guests needs/desired results.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work area to ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the service.
- Promotes other spa services and retail products to maximize the guest’s experience.
- Adheres to all confidentiality and proprietary standards as outlined in company and departmental guidelines.
- Ensures personal appearance and uniform reflect the professional standards outlined in company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Attends all required training activities (both live and computer-based) and incorporates information learned into daily work activities.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in building a cohesive working relationship with co-workers and internal/external contact.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) identified as a measurement of success. KPI’s will be shared with all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI’s as part of the performance review process.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of standard concepts, practices and procedures of nail care.
- Ability to demonstrate proper handling of equipment and instruments used in the role.
- Excellent selling skills/techniques.
- Must have basic math skills.
Education and Experience Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- One (1) year’ experience delivering the Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the role.
- Experience working in a spa resort.
Note:
Relevant work experience or education may be substituted to satisfy education and/or work experience.
The following are required prior to the employment start date:
- State of New Mexico Cosmetology License.
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
