Position Overview
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico.
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The COTA will provide therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping patients regain independence and improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities- Implement therapy interventions according to the OT’s plan of care.
- Accurately document patient progress and treatment sessions in a timely manner.
- Assist in patient and family education to support rehabilitation goals.
- Communicate patient status and observations to the supervising OT.
- Follow all facility safety, infection control, and compliance procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Active NM COTA license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start).
- Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient care skills.
