This is patient care with a pulse – literally. You’ll triage, monitor, medicate, and make magic happen across all age groups (yes, babies to grandpas). All under the supervision of some of the best RNs you’ll ever meet.

• 💊 Administer oral & IV meds (with medical direction – no freelancing here!)
• ❤️ 🔥 Jump into advanced life support and emergency procedures
• 💉 Perform blood draws, glucose checks, and IVs in your sleep (not literally)
• 💓 Monitor cardiac rhythms & assist with defibrillation and cardioversion
• 💨 Provide oxygen therapy & suction like a respiratory rockstar
• 🩹 Master wound care and specimen transport
• 🔒 Follow every safety protocol like your life depends on it (because sometimes it does)

• 🎓 High School Diploma or GED
• 🧪 Pass our UNMH Paramedic Med Test within 6 months
• ⭐ National Paramedic Cert = major bonus points
• 🕒 No experience? We’ll train you. Got 3+ years? We love you already.

• Be ready to lift 50–100 lbs. Yes, we mean it.
• Exposure to biohazards, chemicals, and the occasional cranky patient
• PPE is your best friend
• Rotating shifts – including holidays, weekends, and on‑call. The ER never sleeps.
