Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Biller to join a mission‑driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving underserved communities. This role focuses on accurate and timely medical billing, primarily Medicare and Medicaid claims. Dental billing experience is a plus.

• Prepare, review, and submit medical (and dental, if applicable) claims to Medicare, Medicaid, and other payers.
• Ensure claims are accurate, complete, and compliant with payer and FQHC guidelines.
• Resolve claim denials, rejections, and payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Post payments, adjustments, and reconcile accounts as needed.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve billing issues.
• Adhere to HIPAA and organizational compliance standards.

• 1–3 years of medical billing experience, specifically with Medicare and Medicaid.
• Dental billing experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes, claim forms, and reimbursement processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.

• Must provide proof of vaccination or an approved exemption.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Medical marijuana card is not accepted.
