Occupational Therapist
Job Summary:
Join our team at Manzano by Pure Health, a post-acute setting that is dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and helping your patients achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a post-acute setting
Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
Provide direction and supervision to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs)
Participate in clinical teaching and mentoring of occupational therapy interns and students
Document patient care and treatment in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
Valid state OT license
Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Proficient in Microsoft applications and willingness to learn new systems
Ability to work in a culturally diverse population
Positive communication skills and demonstrated maturity and patience
Good organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to prioritize workload, demonstrate initiative, and analyze situations to make sound decisions
Ability to make sound clinical judgment relating to the provision of occupational therapy services
Work Environment:
This position operates in a post-acute setting
Requires regular walking to various locations around the facility
May regularly come into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses
Team members are expected to adhere to facility's no-smoking policy
