Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Join our team at Manzano by Pure Health, a post-acute setting that is dedicated to providing exceptional care and rehabilitation services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and helping your patients achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in a post-acute setting

• Conduct patient evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans

• Provide direction and supervision to Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs)

• Participate in clinical teaching and mentoring of occupational therapy interns and students

• Document patient care and treatment in a timely and accurate manner

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program

• Valid state OT license

• Minimum one (1) year of related experience preferred

• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

• Proficient in Microsoft applications and willingness to learn new systems

• Ability to work in a culturally diverse population

• Positive communication skills and demonstrated maturity and patience

• Good organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize workload, demonstrate initiative, and analyze situations to make sound decisions

• Ability to make sound clinical judgment relating to the provision of occupational therapy services

Work Environment:

• This position operates in a post-acute setting

• Requires regular walking to various locations around the facility

• May regularly come into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses

• Team members are expected to adhere to facility's no-smoking policy
