The Department of Neurosciences seeks a Lab Aide to assist faculty in research on the effect of cocaine on neuronal circuits and will involve working with laboratory animals. Techniques to be used include immunohistochemistry, behavioral assessments, and microscopy. Lab aide will work under direct supervision, provides routine assistance in the performance of laboratory tests and/or research. Cleans and stores laboratory facilities, equipment, and supplies as appropriate, and will keep routine records and reports on laboratory results according to established procedures.
Preferred Qualifications- Biomedical laboratory research, including techniques such as immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and/or behavioral experiments.
- Biochemical calculations (e.g., molarity) and preparation of solutions
