About the Assignment

Embark on a transformative travel assignment as an Occupational Therapist in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a promising starting date of 02/23/2026. This is your opportunity to apply deep clinical expertise across diverse outpatient, hospital, or rehabilitation settings while enjoying the beauty, culture, and warmth of the Southwest. You’ll make a meaningful impact by evaluating, planning, and delivering personalized interventions that help patients regain independence, adapt to new environments, and return to the activities they value most.

Location

Overview

Albuquerque blends cosmopolitan charm with natural wonder, offering access to the Sandia Mountains, expansive desert vistas, and a thriving cultural scene. Festivals, unique southwestern cuisine, historic Old Town, and easy access to hiking, biking, and outdoor adventures make this location feel like more than a clinical post—it’s a working vacation with purpose. In this role, you’ll be immersed in a community that values collaborative care, family‑centered approaches, and patient empowerment.

Albuquerque also serves as a gateway to other states, giving you the chance to experience urban centers, rural clinics, and diverse patient populations while maintaining your core commitment to excellence in occupational therapy.

Responsibilities

In this OT assignment, you’ll deliver comprehensive assessment and intervention to individuals across the lifespan, adapting treatment plans to meet evolving goals. Core responsibilities include: evaluating endurance, dexterity, cognition, and sensory processing; designing goal‑driven therapeutic activities; prescribing and training in adaptive equipment and home modification strategies; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families; documenting outcomes, progress, and discharge plans; and mentoring junior staff when opportunities arise.

You’ll champion evidence‑based practices, harness assistive technologies, and guide patients through meaningful tasks—whether regaining the ability to dress independently, return to work, or participate in community activities.

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation is a hallmark of this assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $1,409 to $1,483, with guaranteed hours of 35.0 per week. A robust benefits package complements your clinical impact, including a bonus structure, housing assistance to ease relocation or temporary housing needs, and extension opportunities to continue your journey with the team if you choose to deepen your imprint in a given setting.

You’ll also benefit from comprehensive support designed for traveling clinicians: a dedicated 24/7 assistance line and a responsive clinical liaison who’s ready to help you troubleshoot scheduling, documentation, or clinical questions at any hour.

Company Overview

The company behind this assignment is grounded in empowering its staff, prioritizing career advancement, and nurturing a supportive work environment. You’ll be embedded in a culture that recognizes your clinical judgment, respects your autonomy, and encourages collaborative problem‑solving. Expect constructive feedback, mentorship opportunities, and clear pathways to elevate your practice—whether that means pursuing specialty certifications, expanding into leadership roles, or branching into new practice settings within the network.

The emphasis is on sustainable growth, work‑life balance, and an environment where clinicians feel heard, supported, and inspired to deliver their best every day.
