Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery:
Develop dynamic curriculum and deliver engaging lectures in radiologic procedures, radiation safety, patient care, and image evaluation. - Lab Supervision:
Conduct hands-on lab demonstrations and supervise student practice to ensure proficiency in radiographic techniques and equipment operation. - Student Mentorship:
Advise students and track their academic and clinical progress to help them achieve program benchmarks. - Performance Evaluation:
Provide constructive and timely feedback through classroom assessments, lab practicals, and clinical site visits. - Accreditation Support:
Collaborate with the Program Director to support JRCERT accreditation standards and clinical externship coordination.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor s degree (required for this role). - Program Background:
Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. - Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of full-time clinical experience in diagnostic radiography. - Certification:
Current ARRT certification in Radiography (or equivalent New Mexico state license). - Software
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Communication:
Excellent interpersonal skills with a commitment to a student-centered environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in curriculum development, classroom instruction, and student academic advising.
- A proven track record of mentoring or precepting students or new technologists.
