Position is full‑time, days shift, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Location: 1100 Central Avenue SE, Albuquerque, NM .

Salary: $32.26/hr – $49.26/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients regarding the application of a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, hearing, cognition, and dysphagia disorders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span of patients served.
• Oversee and insure a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and immediate environmental well‑being of the patient.
• Promote patient/caregiver self‑determination by optimizing outside resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence.
• Coordinate and communicate with various disciplines or services involved in patient care.
• Coordinate efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during episode of care.
• Act as a patient advocate.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology (required).
• Current New Mexico SLP licensure.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• BLS required at time of hire.
• New graduates and experienced SLPs encouraged to apply.
