Travel RN - Telemetry - Progressive Care Unit

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position at a Heart Hospital, requiring cardiovascular experience and a NM or compact RN license.

Job Details

• PCU setting located within a Heart Hospital,

• 55-bed cardiovascular-focused unit,

• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM,

• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week,

• Patient ratio of 1:4,

• Weekend requirement on an as-needed, rotating basis,

• Floating is required,

• No on-call responsibilities,

• Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis,

• EMR:
Epic (experience preferred),

Job Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CPI certification preferred,

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required; 2 years preferred,

• Cardiovascular nursing experience required,

• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration,

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position,

• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before applying as a traveler,

• No travel pairs or groups accepted,

• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO will be approved during the first week of orientation,
