We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Consulting Medical Front Desk.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a courteous and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression for our healthcare facility.
  • Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation.
  • Obtain and update patient information accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing inquiries, and providing information related to our healthcare services.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Handle billing processes, including insurance verification, co-pay collection, and invoice generation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment.
  • Handle patient concerns and complaints professionally, escalating them to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned, such as filing, data entry, and supply inventory.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical front desk or similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients, visitors, and team members.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy to handle patient information and manage appointments.
  • Proficiency in using medical software for scheduling, billing, and data management.
  • Knowledge of medical terminologies, healthcare procedures, and insurance processes.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required. A degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
