Objective
Under the direction of the Administrator, the Medical Records Director plans, develops, and administers medical record systems for nursing centers in accordance with State and Federal Regulations as well as professional standards of practice and Company and facility policies and procedures.
Principal Responsibilities- Promotes guidelines for documenting, storing and retrieving information
- Processes medical documents, insurance and correspondence requests in compliance with federal, state and local regulations as well as professional standards of practice and The Company corporate and nursing center policies and procedures
- Performs monthly audits on admissions, discharge and routine Quality Assurance
- Other duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice

- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Administration preferred.
- RHIA or RHIT credential preferred.
- Two years proven previous experience in medical records required
