We currently have a client in Albuquerque, NM looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (Traveling SLP) for a 13‑week contract assignment (days). • Proven experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Graduate of a master’s level program in Speech Language Pathology accredited by Education Standards Board or meeting ASHA certification requirements
• Must possess independent decision‑making skills
• Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, and families

Work Experience:

At least 2 years of SLP experience

Candidates need to possess phenomenal efficiency, attention to detail, strong knowledge of procedures, and patient safety. Compassion and sensitivity are prerequisites. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who can act quickly in emergencies.

• Play an important part in helping patients recover and improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities by providing therapy.
• Communicate patient progress and issues to the supervisor and team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accrediting requirements.
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the company’s Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards, and applicable state and federal laws.
