Bilingual Medical Assistant — Spanish​/English, Patient Care

Responsibilities

• Obtaining patient vital signs, performing blood draws, point of care lab tests, EKGs, & other procedures, rooming patients, stocking supplies, prepping/cleaning exam rooms
• Patient registration, scheduling, over-the-phone communication, clinical documentation, use of electronic medical records system, patient fee collection
• Supporting clinicians with clinical flow, restocking, & patient care needs

• Mentoring health apprentices in specific clinical skills, providing feedback to staff for use in program management decisions
• Supporting the work of the suboxone program & harm reduction program for people dealing with addictions
• Active participation in staff huddles & meetings

• Bilingual (Spanish) required
• Ability to commit consistent 40-hours per week
• MA accredited program or 2-3+ years experience
• Passionate about health equity and community empowerment a plus
