Ultrasound technologist performs diagnostic imaging across abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast modalities, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and image accuracy in a supportive clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and breast imaging
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings for optimal image quality
- Analyze images and provide preliminary findings to physicians
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control standards
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality care
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
- Experience in obstetric (OB) ultrasound
- Experience in general ultrasound
- Experience in vascular ultrasound
- Experience in breast ultrasound
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification
- ARRT (Sonography) certification accepted if applicable
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent ultrasound experience preferred
