A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide acute care services. The OT will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment programs to help patients regain independence and maximize functional abilities.

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patient function
• Participate in care plan meetings and discharge planning
• Document patient progress accurately using Med Host EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
• Support performance improvement initiatives and professional development

• Minimum 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required
• Acute care experience required
• Active New Mexico OT license (or compact state license)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

• 99-bed facility with 10 inpatient rehab beds and 15 swing beds
• No floating required
• No call required
• Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers
• Block scheduling not available
• 48-hour guarantee not approved

The Occupational Therapist plays a key role in rehabilitating physically disabled patients by improving functional status. Responsibilities include treatment planning, patient education, administrative duties, and active participation in discharge planning and care coordination.
