Activities Aide for SNFJob Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Aide for SNF to join our team at Manzano by Pure Health in Albuquerque, New Mexico. As an integral member of our care community, you will be responsible for creating a engaging and stimulating environment for our residents, while promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Responsibilities:Develop and implement a variety of recreational and therapeutic activities to meet the diverse needs and interests of our residents
Collaborate with the activities director to plan and coordinate activities, such as arts and crafts, exercise classes, and social events
Encourage resident participation and socialization through active listening, empathy, and compassion
Facilitate resident-led activities and groups, such as book clubs and support groups
Maintain a clean and organized activity space, including setting up and putting away tables, chairs, and equipment
Assist with daily living tasks, such as escorting residents to activities and meals
Provide excellent customer service to residents, families, and colleagues
Activities Aide for SNF duties may also include supporting other departments, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive approach to resident care
High school diploma or equivalent required

Ability to work with diverse populations and provide individualized attention to residents
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents as needed
Possess a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional care and services
