Position SummaryProvides safe and efficient transportation for Isleta Resort & Casino internal and external guests according to designated and assigned schedule while promoting and exhibiting World Class Guest Service to all Resort and Casino guests.
Isleta Resort and Casino Guest Service AgreementAll Team Members will display 100% commitment to World Class Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of Guest Service Standards established by the Isleta Resort and Casino.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Greets guests, maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere, and promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient service and provides information regarding Isleta Resort & Casino transportation and parking services.
- Transports both internal and external guests to and from Isleta Resort & Casino in a safe and courteous manner
- Adheres to transportation schedules
- Retrieves and/or carries guests’ items, luggage, and packages to and from vehicles and carts and transports items to designated areas by way of grasping, lifting, carrying and/or loading luggage and packages into/out of vehicles or onto a bell cart to transport items throughout hotel to designated areas.
- Performs all duties in accordance with Isleta Resort & Casino guest service standards
- Maintains general knowledge of Isleta Resort & Casino programs, events, services, and provides general information regarding those services to resort guests
- Makes transportation announcements as needed
- As part of the transportation department team, will provide input or recommendations for improvements/changes in program processes or services and will participate in other department projects as directed
- Identifies and reports any irregular, unsafe, or hazardous conditions
- Clean and performs general upkeep of transportation vehicles
- Ensures passenger safety
- Maintains security of guest’s keys and luggage
- May perform valet attendant duties as assigned and when needed

- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Entry level position.
- Must be able to acquire and maintain Gaming License issued through POIGRA.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and background investigation.
- Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any days/hours as needed or required to meet business needs.
- Must maintain all Isleta Resort and Casino-wide educational and certification requirements.
- Valid New Mexico drivers license; no offenses in the last five years.
- Must have at least 2-4 years driving experience.
- Excellent driving record
- Strong interpersonal skills to achieve guest service standards
- Experience & demonstrated ability operating a variety of motor vehicles including both automatic and manual transmissions
- Experience working in a cooperative positive team environment
- Must be able to lift, move, and place up to 50 pounds intermittently.
- Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time.
- Smoke filled environment, exposure to various lights and sounds. May, on occasion be required to work outdoors. Occasionally may deal with angry or hostile individuals. Must be on call at all times. May work holidays, weekends, and different shifts.
