Role DescriptionThe Front Office Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Albuquerque, NM. This role oversees daily front desk operations, including check-in and check-out processes, room assignments, and handling guest inquiries and reservations. The Front Office Manager leads and schedules front desk team members, ensures adherence to brand standards, and monitors performance to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
Day-to-day responsibilities include resolving guest concerns, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance, managing cash handling and reports, and maintaining accurate records. The role also involves training staff, implementing front office procedures, and supporting a welcoming, efficient, and safe lobby environment.
- Strong front office and office administration skills, including managing daily operations, schedules, and documentation.
- Proven ability to deliver customer satisfaction through high-quality customer service and professional guest interactions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with guests, team members, and management.
- Experience supervising or leading a team in a hospitality or service environment, with effective coaching and delegation abilities.
- Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Comfort with hotel management systems, basic computer applications, and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous front desk or hotel operations experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education in hospitality or business is a plus.
