We are currently seeking a People Operations Generalist to join our organization. As a People Operations Generalist, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the People and Culture department, including all administrative tasks and support in the areas of benefits, payroll, talent acquisition, employee programs, policy interpretation, and employee relations. You will provide administrative support with regard to all areas under the People Operations, Talent Management, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement functions.

What

You'll Do:
  • Serve as first point of contact for calls and in person visitors ensuring professional service to all employees, applicants, and vendors.
  • Provide administrative support to the People Operations and Talent Management departments including creation and distribution of assigned reports, employee file maintenance and process/procedural assistance, program tracking and metrics.
  • Assists employees in policy interpretation and refer employees to the appropriate owner or channel.
  • Maintain, distribute, and receive documents to include preparation of anniversary certificates, placing company store orders, auditing new hire files, scanning paper documents, preparing interview packets, distributing department mail, and maintaining People & Culture storage room organization.
  • Maintaining current employee roster in vendor systems.
  • Supports Talent Management team in phone screens, application review, as needed.

Audits all reporting, as needed and assist with payroll processing, onboarding, benefit related items.

What You'll Need:
  • One to three years similar or related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Key

Skills and Experience:
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external customers appropriately via in person, email etc.
  • Working knowledge of laws and regulatory compliance.
  • Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.
  • Experience in multi-tasking, meeting strict deadlines, dealing with sensitive information, and problem resolution while providing exceptional service.
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and proactively communicate.
