Position: Software Developer Intern with Security Clearance
Position Description & Qualifications Serco is seeking a Software Developer Intern to join its Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC) team. DMOC delivers secure connectivity and network interoperability between unique simulator platforms across the globe, allowing aircrews to train together in a high-fidelity virtual environment. This position will be located on Kirtland AFB in Albuquerque, NM and will be an on-site position beginning Summer 2026.

In this position, you will:
* Assist in the development, testing, and maintenance of operating systems and associated software.
* Learn comprehensive cybersecurity and acceptance testing procedures
* Support various Tier levels of system administration & customer support
* Identify and document defects
* Collaborate with team members on various projects
* Receive Department of War software development training To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A High School Diploma and be enrolled in an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Modeling & Simulation, or Computer Science
* Familiarity with agile software development
* Some experience with web development (React

JS)
* Familiarity with Linux
* Familiarity with Docker
* Coding/Programming Experience
