Systems Engineer, Cybersecurity
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
- Successfully receives formal training and on-the-job (OTJ) and becomes competent in the provision of TSSC services (either TSCM or TEMPEST) to protect NNSA facilities and assets.
- Developing the competency to effectively communicate TSSC requirements/issues to large or small groups of non-technical personnel.
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of sensitive measurement and survey equipment.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Five years of experience in physical security or law enforcement, information systems, network, or cyber security, electronics repair and maintenance, or electrical, RF or wireless engineering.
- Must meet the physical, vison and hearing requirements for TSCM technicians IAW NNSA SD 470.6.
- Undergraduate degree in an information technology, electronics, electronics, telecommunications, computer technology, security or a related discipline is desirable.
- Must demonstrate the required aptitudes needed to pass the ITC Fundamentals Course, and be recommended by a certified TSCM technician/practitioner.
- Active Q or TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility or favorably adjudicated Tier V personnel security background investigation not more than 4.5 years from proposed entry onto contract.
This is a full-time onsite position in Albuquerque, NM.
