Job Description Summary

The Senior Program Manager – Digital Business Transformation leads the successful delivery of large-scale, enterprise-level technology initiatives, including major system implementations, enterprise application enhancements, and digital modernization/transformation efforts. This role oversees the full program lifecycle from strategic planning through execution and operational handoff, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget, schedule, and quality standards. Acting as the central point of accountability, the Senior PM partners with executives, technology leaders, and business stakeholders to drive transformation, optimize processes, and deliver measurable business value.

A critical part of the role is leading Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities to ensure solutions are not only delivered but effectively adopted across the organization.

This role is predominantly remote and can be based anywhere in the United States; however, candidates must reside within 50 miles of a designated site location.

Position Responsibilities
  • Program Leadership & Strategy – Develop and execute program strategies for complex enterprise technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, digital transformation roadmaps, and stakeholder expectations.

  • Planning & Execution – Oversee the creation and management of integrated, resource-loaded master schedules, budgets, and risk management plans; adjust priorities based on evolving business needs and program critical path.

  • Stakeholder Engagement – Serve as the single point of contact for program execution, facilitating communication between business units, IT, vendors, and executive leadership. Ensure high customer and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Organizational Change Management (OCM) – Lead change management strategy and execution, including stakeholder analysis, communications planning, training strategy, readiness assessments, and adoption metrics. Partner with business leaders to ensure cultural, process, and behavioral changes are embedded for long-term success.

  • Change & Risk Management – Lead enterprise change management efforts, identifying risks, dependencies, and impacts to business operations. Develop and execute mitigation plans to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes.

  • Governance & Reporting – Establish and manage program controls, success criteria, and KPIs. Provide regular program status updates and executive-level briefings on progress, risks, and financial performance.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership – Partner with product owners, solution architects, functional leads, and operations to ensure successful system design, development, testing, deployment, and adoption.

  • Business Development & Continuous Improvement – Support opportunity analysis, vendor selection, and proposal development for new initiatives. Drive continuous improvement by leveraging lessons learned and industry best practices.
