Information Systems Tech

ATA Services, Inc. is currently seeking to hire an experienced Information Systems Tech to work on a temporary assignment. This position is NOT remote, it’s in-office in Albuquerque, NM.

• Pay Rate: $22.59 per hour with weekly pay
• Schedule:
  Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Location:
  Albuquerque, NM
• Requirements:
  Must pass drug test and background check

To assist in providing technical support for a variety of hardware, software and peripheral equipment to upgrade existing hardware and software; to correct reported hardware and/or software problems; and to perform a variety of technical tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibility.

• Provide technical support for a variety of computer equipment including hardware, software and related equipment.
• Diagnose and recommend corrective actions to remedy software and/or hardware problems
• Participate in the planning, implementation and installation of new systems based upon City and user needs
• Receive and analyze requests for services; coordinate with staff members to fill requests.
• Provide end users and DTI management with a wide variety of reports and data to enhance their ability to react effectively to their needs.
• Upgrade existing hardware and/or software; convert data files from one computer platform to another; support the restoration and reconfiguration of systems

• Attend and participate in professional group meetings; stay abreast of new trends and innovations in the field of information systems
• Maintain system security for the City’s mainframe system
• Maintain system documentation
• Perform related duties and responsibilities as required

• Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in information systems, computer science or a related field, plus one (1) year of information systems experience.
