What You’ll DoInformation Management Professionals support Sandia’s mission by managing, organizing, and securing information, knowledge, and data to ensure accessibility and integrity across multiple environments.
- Identify, collect, and structure information, knowledge, data, artifacts, and records.
- Organize and facilitate retrieval using categories, metadata, and taxonomies.
- Maintain and improve repositories and information management tools across various security levels.
- Facilitate distribution of information through tools and repositories to support key deliverables and milestones.
- Secure information by implementing access controls.
- Monitor status to ensure data integrity.
- Provide training and consultation on information management practices.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
On any given day, you may encounter information, knowledge, data, artifacts, or records and must adhere to standards as described.
Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
CompensationSalary Range: $74,700 - $144,400
Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Library Science, Business or related discipline, plus a minimum of five years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with information systems, data management, and the development and implementation of information processes.
- Ability to obtain a DOE Q-level security clearance.
- Master’s degree in Information Systems, Library Science, Business or related discipline.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams and perform well in deadline-driven, fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other information or product management software/tools.
- Experience with configuration management and records management best practices.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship and may be impacted by dual citizenship.
