We are seeking a Siemens Teamcenter Configuration Administrator to support Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD). This position is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting Siemens Teamcenter in a secure cloud-based environment while working directly with customers to understand requirements and implement solutions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and enjoys solving complex problems. While prior Teamcenter experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates strong analytical skills, customer engagement abilities, and a willingness to learn.
What You'll DoTeamcenter Administration & Configuration
- Configure organizations, groups, roles, and access controls.
- Configure and maintain Teamcenter workflows.
- Support BMIDE deployments and data model enhancements.
- Assist with data migration, bulk data loads, and validation activities.
- Create and modify business objects, attributes, forms, and style sheets.
- Configure and support integrations between Teamcenter and other engineering tools.
- Support application upgrades, patches, and system maintenance activities.
- Configure and maintain Siemens Teamcenter to support customer requirements.
Customer Support & Requirements Gathering
- Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements.
- Participate in requirements workshops, demonstrations, and user feedback sessions.
- Provide functional guidance and Teamcenter best practices to end users.
- Translate customer needs into Teamcenter configurations and solutions.
Troubleshooting & Continuous Improvement
- Coordinate issue resolution with Siemens GTAC and other support organizations.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
- Document solutions, procedures, and configuration changes.
- Support testing and validation of new capabilities and enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve application issues using Teamcenter, Windows, and application logs.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in Agile development activities, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing across the team.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Cybersecurity personnel, System Administrators, and Engineering SMEs.
Required Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
- U.S. Citizenship required with an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with customers and gather technical and business requirements.
- Experience supporting enterprise software applications.
- General understanding of Windows operating systems and enterprise IT environments.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent).
- Must be willing to work on-site at Kirkland AFB.
