Field Service Technician III – Role Overview
As a Field Service Technician III you will perform maintenance and technical support on our products such as equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software at customer and field locations. You’ll install, operate, maintain, repair, modify our products and update and track the status of all field equipment. You’ll build and maintain effective relationships with customers and provide onsite training. The role supports the ISR, Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area, a leader in ISR and aviation and a prime integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems.
Must‑Haves- High school diploma or GED equivalent, and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher‑level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
- Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques
- Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
- An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Associate’s degree in a related field of study
- Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
- Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
- Basic understanding of Spectrometer, Oscilloscope and/or Pilot Static Equipment gauges
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Military

Security Clearance RequirementsThis position requires a current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non‑U.S. Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF) handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use.
