Job Description:

We are seeking an all-around, cleared Senior IT Systems Administrator to manage and optimize our technology infrastructure in Albuquerque, NM. In this fully on-site role, you will be the core technical driver for our local operations. You will balance direct help desk support for on-site personnel with hands‑on management of our physical on‑premises server rooms, backup architectures, Microsoft Government Cloud (GCC/GCC High) environments, and classified networks.

This position also takes full ownership of hardware/software asset lifecycle tracking, company phone program execution, and maintaining technical readiness for CMMC compliance.

Key Responsibilities and

Essential Job Functions:

• Proactively maintain, manage, and care for all physical on‑premises IT infrastructure, including local servers, storage arrays, network switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor, test, and administer comprehensive physical and cloud-based backup systems and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.
• Maintain physical server room health, including monitoring power infrastructure, UPS units, and climate/environmental factors.
• Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain daily technical operations of on‑site classified networks and isolated environments.
• Handle user provisioning, account lifecycle management, identity governance (Azure AD/Entra ), and access controls within secure boundaries.
• Provide tier‑2 and tier‑3 technical support for hardware, software, connectivity, and peripherals for on‑site personnel.
• Build, deploy, and maintain standard, secure system images (Windows/macOS) for local employee computers, laptops, and engineering workstations.
• Diagnose and resolve daily technical bottlenecks quickly to minimize team downtime.

Software Asset & Hardware Lifecycle Management (15%):

• Manage, audit, and track company‑wide software applications and subscription licenses to ensure zero compliance gaps.
• Maintain a meticulously detailed, auditable inventory of all physical IT hardware assets, cryptographic equipment, and peripherals.
• Coordinate software renewal timelines, audit utilization to minimize unnecessary software spend, and manage IT vendor billing.

Corporate Phone Program & MDM Management (15%):

• Lead the deployment, management, and support of the corporate phone program (VoIP infrastructure and mobile device fleets).
• Implement and manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) policies to secure corporate mobile assets and endpoints.
• Act as the point of contact for telecommunication vendors to handle service plans, hardware upgrades, and number routing.

IT Compliance & General Administration (15%):

• Implement and verify the technical configurations required to maintain CMMC and NIST SP 800-171 compliance across on‑prem and cloud IT environments.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, network diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user‑facing instructions.
• Assist in prepping technical evidence for internal and external IT infrastructure audits.

Required Qualifications:
