Business Support Specialist Customization
Rio Grande is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Business Support Specialist to support our growing Customization business. This role serves as the central coordinator for Custom Casting, Stamp & Form, Laser Engraving, Hot Foil Stamping, and CAD-supported custom projects.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously, and excels at communicating with customers, internal teams, and external partners.
What You'll Do- Manage the Customization Services inbox and coordinate incoming project requests.
- Process and track customization service orders, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Rio Grande and external CAD design partners.
- Coordinate communication between customers, sales teams, Manufacturing, Merchandising, and Customer Support.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure projects remain on track.
- Provide customers and internal stakeholders with project status updates and next steps.
- Generate weekly project status reports and maintain accurate project records in Hub Spot.
- 25 years of experience in project coordination, sales support, customer service, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Hub Spot or Salesforce preferred.
- Experience working with manufacturing, production, customization services, or project-based workflows is a plus.
- Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
