Litigation Attorney (3+ Years Experience)

Albuquerque, NM (On-site)

Are you a litigator who knows their way around the Second Judicial District Court but is looking for a firm that actually values your growth? We are currently representing a premier Albuquerque-based firm seeking a dedicated Litigation Attorney to join their civil litigation team.

This is a "sweet spot" role for an attorney with 3+ years of experience who is ready to take more ownership of their files while working toward a clear path to partnership or senior associate status.

The Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $105,000 - $135,000 (Commensurate with experience)
• Bonus Structure:
  Performance-based annual bonuses + origination incentives.

The Role

You will manage a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters from inception through resolution. While we value a collaborative environment, we are looking for someone capable of running with discovery, depositions, and motion practice.

• Conduct legal research and draft complex pleadings and motions.
• Manage all phases of discovery, including electronically stored information (ESI).
• Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Trial Work: 1st chair experience is a significant plus, but if you've been "second chairing" and are hungry to lead your first trial, this firm provides the mentorship to get you there.

Requirements

• Licensure:
  Must be licensed to practice law in New Mexico and in good standing with the State Bar.
• Experience:
  
  3+ years of practicing litigation (Civil, Commercial, or Insurance Defense preferred).
• Skills:
  
  Exceptional writing skills and a reputation for professionalism within the local legal community.
