As a Parts Specialist at Rebel Road Hot Rod Garage, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects by ensuring that the right parts are sourced, stocked, and delivered at the right time. This position blends organization, research, and customer service to keep projects running smoothly while maintaining the authenticity and quality our clients expect.

Responsibilities
  • Parts Sourcing & Procurement: Identify, order, and track parts for classic and custom vehicles, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. (ETA’s!)
  • Parts Budgeting & Projections: Develop and manage budgets for parts procurement based on project requirements, historical data, and upcoming needs. Create accurate cost projections to ensure projects remain within financial guidelines and regularly review expenditures to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, organize stock, and ensure all parts are properly labeled, stored, and accessible.
  • Documentation Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to accurately document, track, and organize all incoming and outgoing parts to ensure accountability and ease of retrieval. Must be detail-oriented in maintaining records that support efficient inventory management and quick location of components when needed.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, lead times, and availability.
  • Project Support: Collaborate with technicians and project consultants to anticipate parts needs, avoid delays, and verify accuracy of parts before installation.
  • Documentation & Records: Keep detailed logs of purchased parts, backorders, returns, and vendor communications.
  • Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming parts for accuracy, damage, and compatibility with project specifications.
  • Shop Support: Assist in keeping the parts department organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.

  • Vendor cost savings and relationship management effectiveness.
  • Reduction of delays caused by missing, incorrect, or late parts.

  • Passion for Classic Cars: Strong enthusiasm for automotive history, customization, and restoration.
  • Documentation Capabilities: Ability to properly document all aspects of transactions. Dates, thorough descriptions, and clear note taking.
