Maintenance Supervisor – Chamberlin + Associates

We are recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor to join our fun and talented team at Chamberlin + Associates, a fast‑growing company with decades of experience in multifamily property management.

• Perform and schedule daily maintenance tasks, including preparing vacant units for occupancy and preventative maintenance.
• Assist with interviewing, screening, and making recommendations for service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel in conjunction with the manager.
• Train all service, housekeeping/custodial, or grounds personnel.
• Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Initiate process and maintenance method improvements.
• Maintain MSDS sheets and replacement logs.
• Hold the maintenance team accountable for attendance and performance expectations.
• Supervise and select vendor work and schedule vendor work.
• Inventory, order, and deliver supplies and equipment for the service, custodial, and grounds departments under community manager approval.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
• Handle all lock‑outs resulting from evictions and respond to 24‑hour service requests.
• Work on an on‑call basis and report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
• Remove snow and ice as necessary and ensure required tools are on hand.

• Self‑motivated with attention to detail.
• Ability to operate various hand tools, including power tools.
• Positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Property maintenance/maintenance person experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• (HVAC and CPO certifications preferred).

Pay:
Up to $26 BOE, with a 20% rent discount.
