Receive 17% Weekday Nights, 26% Weekend Nights and 15% Weekend Day shift differentials

Minimum Offer $20.82/hr maximum Offer $31.24/hr.

Position Summary: Advanced level within the maintenance specialist series; perform a variety of advanced specialized maintenance and servicing duties in support of assigned on-site and/or off-site area; may perform standard maintenance duties and tasks as required. Ensures adherence to Hospital and Departmental Policies and Procedures. No patient care assignment.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• MAINTENANCE – Perform a variety of more advanced specialized maintenance and servicing duties to include electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation and cooling systems repair and services.
• MAINTENANCE – Perform standard building maintenance, carpentry and welding duties as required to include building exterior and interior repairs and services; monitor repair and/or replace thermostats as needed.
• MAINTENANCE – Organize and prioritize work assignments to minimize disruption of hospital operations; ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote workplace safety.
• RESPONSE TEAMS – Participate in Fire‑Brigade‑Response Team and child abduction programs; participate in annual competency reviews, tests and in‑services.
• ASSISTANCE – Assist other department personnel as needed.
• RELATED WORK – Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

Education – Essential:

• High School or GED Equivalent
• Vocational or Technical

Education – Related Discipline – Essential:

• Related Discipline

Experience – Essential:

• 3 years directly related experience

Experience – Nonessential:

• No preferred experience

Credentials – Essential:

• Valid New Mexico Driver's License
• UNM Vehicle Operator's Permit within 60 days

Physical Conditions: Heavy Work:
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
