• Perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties for facilities using Service Master provided tools and procedures.
• Sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, shampooing carpets, stripping, waxing, buffing.
• Move furniture, disinfect floors with sanitizer, spot cleaning, cleaning of elevators and stairs.
• Achieve a thorough understanding of buffing, stripping, waxing, and identifying different flooring types.
• Operate various floor equipment and machinery.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE and safety equipment as required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable the security system as required.

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching.
• Lift and/or carry up to 55 lbs.
• Differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as a floor tech is highly desired but not required.
• Provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude.
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time.
