As a General Manager at a premier Pilates studio, you are the cornerstone of studio success, team development, and delivering an exceptional Pilates experience. You are a passionate leader who thrives on building relationships, inspiring your team, and embodying the values of a dedicated Pilates professional.
Key Responsibilities- Studio Leadership & Operations:
- Oversee all aspects of daily studio operations, ensuring seamless execution of company strategies, policies, and procedures. Collaborate with leadership to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.
- Team Development:
- Recruit, hire, and mentor Pilates instructors and studio leads. Foster a culture of growth, accountability, and continuous improvement. Lead regular team meetings and social events to build a strong, connected studio community.
- Client
Experience: - Deliver a welcoming, high-energy environment that exceeds client expectations. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring every interaction is positive and solutions-focused.
- Performance Management:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, including sales, class utilization, retention, expenses, and payroll. Develop and execute strategies to exceed studio goals and drive ongoing growth.
- Marketing & Community Engagement:
- Lead local marketing initiatives to attract new clients and grow membership. Build partnerships within the health, fitness, and wellness communities, and engage with local influencers and corporate partners.
- Create and manage class and staff schedules to optimize studio performance. Maintain inventory for supplies, retail, and beverages as needed.
- Instruction:
- Teach an average of 8 Pilates classes per week and be present in the studio during class times for a minimum of 25 classes weekly, serving as a role model for both staff and clients.
- Proven leadership experience in fitness, hospitality, or related industries
- Passion for Pilates, health, wellness, and community engagement
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and drive results
- Commitment to delivering an outstanding client experience
