About the Role

The President will have full responsibility for the Company’s commercial, financial, and operational performance. This leader will be a hands-on, data-driven executive with a proven ability to develop and expand key customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and manage profitability. The successful candidate will bring a blend of sales leadership and financial acumen, with the ability to clearly articulate how they have grown strategic accounts using data, metrics, and disciplined execution.

This role requires a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, an optimistic mindset, and a competitive drive to win in a demanding, relationship-driven market.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic & Executive Leadership
  • Set and execute the Company’s overall strategy, operating plans, and growth objectives in alignment with ownership/board expectations.
  • Establish a performance-driven culture emphasizing accountability, urgency, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary external leader of the Company with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Commercial & Key Customer Development
  • Personally lead the development, expansion, and retention of key strategic customers, particularly within the nuclear and nuclear-adjacent markets.
  • Build and execute account strategies for major customers, including wallet-share growth, multi-site agreements, and long-term supply relationships.
  • Use data and analytics (e.g., customer profitability, penetration rates, pricing, contract performance, and pipeline metrics) to guide sales strategy and demonstrate results.
  • Clearly articulate past success growing key accounts through measurable outcomes such as revenue growth, margin improvement, customer concentration expansion, and contract wins.
  • Lead, coach, and hold the sales organization accountable to disciplined sales processes, forecasting, and performance metrics.
  • Financial & Operational Leadership
  • Maintain full P&L responsibility, including budgeting, forecasting, pricing strategy, and cash flow management.
  • Balance growth initiatives with margin discipline and working capital efficiency.
  • Ensure operational execution meets the quality, safety, and regulatory expectations of nuclear and other regulated customers.
  • Partner closely with operations and supply chain teams to support customer commitments and scalability.
  • Growth & Value Creation
  • Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities, including new products, services, customers, and adjacent markets.
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships and potential acquisitions that expand capabilities or market access.
  • Build the organizational capabilities, systems, and talent required to support sustainable growth.
  • Approximately 50% customer travel and conference travel.
  • Developing and coordinating sales with other portfolio companies.
Qualifications
  • Senior leadership experience (General Manager, VP, or similar) in a small to mid-sized B2B company.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and growing key customer relationships, with the ability to quantify results using data and metrics.
  • Strong sales and commercial background, paired with hands-on financial and P&L leadership.
  • Industry experience in one or more of the following:
  • Nuclear energy or nuclear services (strongly preferred)
  • Energy or utilities
  • Oil & gas
  • Industrial supply or safety products
  • Experience selling into regulated, relationship-driven, and technically demanding customer environments.
Required Skills
  • Data-driven commercial leader who uses metrics to inform decisions and demonstrate impact.
  • Financially astute, with a clear understanding of pricing, margins, and cash flow.
  • Strong negotiator with the ability to close complex, long-term agreements.
  • Comfortable operating in a lean organization and leading by example.

Pay range and compensation package

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
